Foreshore is regretful to announce Phife Dawg and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s, two members of A Tribe Called Quest, have cancelled their November tour including their appearance at Foreshore.
In their place Pharoahe Monch featuring Jean Grae are joining the Foreshore 2010 line-up, which is a huge asset to the show!
Hip Hop veteran Pharoahe Monch showcases his new album 'W.A.R.' (We Are Renegades) on tour with rap phenomenon Jean Grae in a not to be missed national tour of Australia.
Each artist will perform a full set in what promises to be a once in a lifetime chance to see two of rap´s most gifted MCs on the same stage.
In a statement release by Phife Dawg and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s touring company Peace Music, it seems the guys have fallen victim to agency fraud.
“It has very recently come to light the agent for the tour has grossly misrepresented the artists involved, and misappropriated payments made to him on behalf of the artists,” the statement details.
“On further investigation Peace discovered that the ‘agent’ in question, one James Richardson of Abstrakt Visions Entertainment, had defrauded three different European promoters in connection with misrepresenting Phife earlier in the year, and that he appeared to be little more than a career con man."
Peace and Kicks Entertainment would like to express our most sincere regret to all those who purchased tickets in connection with Phife Dawg and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s appearance at Foreshore.

Foreshore reached capacity a month out from the show and is now officially sold out. There will be no more tickets released. Kicks would like to thank everyone for the continued support and for embracing the exciting changes taking place this year, it's going to be one super fun Foreshore!
