Can I change the name on my ticket?
Yes! All name changes on Moshtix tickets must be finalized 48hrs out from the event.
Please note that only the barcode will be checked on the door at Foreshore, not the name.

What time should I get to Foreshore?
Gates open for Foreshore at 12pm and finishes at 11pm. Check out the set times here as headline acts are on early.
How do I get there?
There are a couple of different ways to get to Foreshore. You can walk from the city bus terminal, catch an ACTION bus, jump in a cab or grab a lift. Head here for more info
Please note: there is very limited parking available at Foreshore. We suggest jumping on public transport or grabbing a lift instead.
Will there be police at Foreshore?
We have a big team of licensed security and Police on site. Alongside our event team St Johns First Aid, and Security as well as the police and K-9 Police are at the event to make sure you have a safe day.
We are serious about stopping illicit substances getting into Foreshore. Sniffer dogs will be stationed at the front door with police and bags will be checked thoroughly.
I’m planning to have a couple of drinks before Foreshore; will I be allowed in?
If you arrive intoxicated to Foreshore we can’t let you in. Please drink alcohol responsibly and keep hydrated on the day. We take Responsible Service of Alcohol seriously.
Why can’t I bring water into Foreshore?
Due to the no liquid policy, water bottles are a banned item that cannot be brought into the event, (for a full list of banned items at Foreshore go here).
There is FREE WATER available at all the bars, as well as multiple water refill stations around the site to help keep you hydrated.
Why is sunscreen banned at Foreshore?

There will be FREE SUNSCREEN available inside Foreshore thanks to the Cancer Council ACT and Kicks Entertainment.
I have sensative skin, will there be sunscreen I can use?
They will have a variety of sunscreens available for people with allergies and sensative skin. There will be a fragrance-free sunscreen cream for delicate skin. It is a sunscreen milk and has no chemicals that can irritate those with sensitive skin. Water resistant for 4 hours. SPF30+ protects against UVA and UVB rays. So what exactly can’t I bring into Foreshore?
There are some things you can’t bring to Foreshore on the day. Make sure you know what is not allowed before you get to the gates.
- Food (unless accompanied by medical certificate)
- Prescription medication (unless accompanied by medical certificate)
- Illegal items
- Alcohol
- Glass
- Cans
- Liquids of any kind including perfume, make-up, sunscreen, roll on deodorant and water
- There is FREE Sunscreen and FREE water stations inside the event
- Aerosol Cans, (ie deodorant)
- Skateboards
- Boogie boards
- Eskys
- Milk/bread crates
- Chairs (folding, portable, camping)
- Umbrellas (use a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead)
- Anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc)
- Weapons of any kind
- Fireworks
- Video and tape recording devices
- Professional still cameras (small still cameras ARE allowed)
- Laser lights
- Water pistols
- Animals
- Chuck Norris
- Any other items considered dangerous
Can I leave the festival and come back in?
No. There are no pass outs at Foreshore 2011. Once you leave you cannot come back in.
Is there a cloak room on site?
Yes – there is a cloak room on site and will be clearly marked on the map. It is $5 per item you put away, and $5 each time you take it out or put it back in.
Can I get cash out at Foreshore?
You can get limited money out at Foreshore from the Kicks and Hi-Top Bars. We suggest getting enough cash out for the whole day before you come in to Foreshore as there is only a limited amount you can get out on site.
First Aid
We want you to have the best day possible and we are going to look after you while you are at the event. We have a full team of First Aid staff and Paramedics with fully equipped medical rooms available onsite.
If you need to get to First Aid or are having any other issues talk to the nearest security guard.

Help! I lost my phone/wallet/ID/keys!
Lost property will be situated at the Foreshore Cloak Room on the day. If you loose something and it gets handed in, it’ll be there.
At the end of the day, all valuable lost property (wallets, phones, IDs, credit cards), that have been handed in to the Cloak Room on the day will be given to the ACT Police.
What’s the weather going to be like at Foreshore?
We party rain, hail or shine. Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. High heels are not a good idea; the event site is all beautiful green grass!
Where is the Foreshore Afterparty?
The official Foreshore after party will be in Academy Club and feature acts from the Foreshore line and surprise guests! All will be reveled on the 21st of November!
