Kicks, OutinCanberra and RawFM have partnered to bring you the first ever Foreshore Sound Search 2010!
We're looking for Australia's hottest band and DJ to play at Foreshore 2010. The winners will have the opportunity to sit on a stellar line-up, alongside The Temper Trap, Tiesto, Calvin Harris and Cut Copy.
The registration period for bands and DJ's has opened.
Go to OutInCanberra.com.au and register your band/DJ. Each entry requires:
- A press quality image
- Bio – of the band or DJ
- A soundcloud link with an original track or 20 min DJ mix.
- Website, myspace, facebook links
- Contact details of a band/DJ member
Registration period will close on 5pm 12 October.
Then we need everyone to vote!
From the 15 October, public voting commences via OutInCanberra where we need you, the public, to listen to the band and DJ song entries and vote for your favourite! Just by voting you go in the running to WIN a double pass to Foreshore !
The top four voted artists from each category (as voted by you on OutinCanberra!) will go on to compete at a grand final event at Academy Nightclub on the 12 November, with the winner from both categories taking to the stage at Foreshore 2010.
