Since being Unearthed by triple j in 2010, Brisbane based Ball Park Music have racked up a stack of accolades. To highlight just a few; two songs in the 2011 triple j 'Hottest 100' with ‘It’s Nice To Be Alive’ and ‘All I Want Is You’ while snagging the prize title of Unearthed Artist Of The Year at the J Awards in 2011.
The band is continually building an army of fans for their music and from stellar live performances and multiple headline sold out shows in all metro markets nationally. Ball Park Music have become one of Australia’s must see musical outfits.
Preceding the band’s performance at this year’s Splendour In The Grass and within 12 months of their debut release, Ball Park Music is delivering fresh new music with their new single ‘Surrender’.
On Tuesday 24th July, ‘Surrender’ will premiere on both the triple j breakfast show with Tom and Alex and YouTube respectively.
The track is another example that Ball Park Music are quickly becoming one of Australia's most loved bands and is a wonderful taste of what’s to come next for this talented group.
The band’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Happiness And Surrounding Suburbs’ was released in September 2011 debuting at No.36 on the ARIA album chart and continues to see strong consistent sales and a fiercely growing fanbase.
