About Foreshore

Foreshore 2011 (an 18+ event) is the biggest event we have ever embarked upon. We have sourced the hottest bands and electronic acts from Australia and around the world and they are coming to rock the parliamentary triangle. Gates open at 12 midday.

More than just music

Foreshore is more than just about the music, it is about the total festival experience including one of the most beautiful and unique festival sites in the country. We have plenty of room to grab a beer and chill on the grass with your mates or get right in amongst it on the stage barrier take it at your own pace and have a great day.

Party in style

We have made sure there are lots of toilets in convenient locations, complete with toilet paper and people to clean them, bars with no lines, free water and a variety of interesting food stalls to eat at. Sound too good to be true? Check out our Event Facilities for more details.

Keeping it green

We are serious about reducing our festivals impact on the enviroment and spreading the environmental sustainability message. We have a highly effective recycling program on site and if you get caught dumping litter you may get ‘busted’ by our team of ‘Green Keepers’! Check out our environmental policies and initiatives.

Our festival site is on Ngunnawal land, please aknowledge and respect this when coming to the event.

Our festival site is also in the very heart of the parliamentary triangle on East and West lawns, right in front of Parliament House. This is truly one of the most amazing festival locations in the country and is of significant national importance. Please treat our festival site with respect so we can return each year.
